Beginner Violin
If you have never held a violin, or maybe you played a little in school and are looking to pick it up again, these are the lessons for you. We will go over the basics of learning stringed instruments. Covering the basics of the proper way to hold a violin, learning to read sheet music, and learning the scales on the instrument it self. By the end of these lessons, you will be playing songs for others that they will recognize.
Beginner Viola and Cello
As a strings specialist, I do not just dote on the violin! Maybe you are like me and you want to be a little different from the rest of the crowd, so you are wanting to learn the Viola or Cello. I have you covered there too. Just like the beginner violin training, we will go over all the basics of these instruments.
Beginner Piano
If you look at a piano and see a box of wood and 88 keys, these are the lessons to make it look like a center piece of entertainment for you and your friends. I will show you how to read both the Treble and Bass clefs of piano music, we will go over what those pedals by your feet do, and learn the basic foundation for all piano music.
Moderate to Advanced Violin
You already know how to play, and you are pretty good, but you are looking to move to the next level…you are looking to get that first chair, or be able to jam with your other musical friends, these are the lessons for you. We will go over more technique and theory, and I can show you some tips and tricks to make your fingers glide up and down the neck with ease.
Moderate to Advanced Viola and Cello
You might think it is crazy to “work yourself out of a job” by teaching someone all they need to know on an instrument, but that is just what I love to do. If I could teach everyone to be masters at music, I would be the happiest person in the world.
Group Classes for Strings
Learning in a group setting is completely different from one on one. I like to offer this option to my students so they have the best of both worlds. I offer classes for all ages and levels. This is also a great option for homeschoolers.
