Group Lessons

Private lessons are wonderful for personal growth, but we learn so we can play music WITH other people. Group classes provides students the opportunity to learn new skills like harmony, listening skills, group performance, and so much more, in a comfortable social experience.

 

Whether you’re picking up a violin for the first time or coming back to it after a break, our group classes are all about discovering the joy of music with others. You’ll build skills, confidence, and friendships—one note at a time.

Youth Group Classes (Ages 10-17)

Youth classes give young musicians a great start (or a fun boost!) on their violin journey. In small, supportive groups, students learn solid technique, good practice habits, and how to make beautiful music together.

 

Youth Beginner Thursdays 5 pm

Perfect for students who are new to strings or still building the basics. We’ll cover posture, bowing, note reading, and fun songs that make learning exciting.

Class Length: 50 minutes weekly

Youth Ensemble Thursdays 6 pm

For students with some experience who are ready to play in a group setting. We’ll explore ensemble pieces, listening and blending skills, and the joy of making music together.

Class Length: 50 minutes weekly

Adult Group Classes (Ages 18+)

It’s never too late to learn! These relaxed classes are perfect for adult beginners or returning players who want to enjoy music in good company. You’ll get to play pieces you love, learn solid fundamentals, and share the experience with others who are learning too.

Adult Beginner Thursdays 7 pm

We’ll start from the beginning (or refresh the basics), focusing on posture, tone, and easy tunes that sound great right away. A friendly, no-pressure class where laughter and learning go hand in hand.

Class Length: 50 minutes weekly

Adult Ensemble Thursdays 8 pm

There’s something special about playing music with others. Our small ensemble groups give students a chance to explore chamber music, learn to listen deeply, and make music as a team.

Class Length: 50 minutes weekly
